You are not too late!
Every single year, I promise myself that this is the year I will shop in advance, with the presents smugly wrapped and under the tree weeks before Christmas. When in fact, I have chosen to write a blog post about Christmas gifts instead of actually buying them! If you are a procrastinator, you are in good company and you will find speedy delivery options with each of these gorgeous pressie ideas! Phew!
Happy shopping people!
Interiors Gifts
These lovely items would make a beautiful addition to any home. Especially those H&M cushions. How do I smuggle leopard cushion covers into our living room without him noticing?
Gifts for Her
Here are a few of my favourite things. Most of these I own, those that I don’t can be considered a hint!
Gifts for Him
These are some things that I have previously bought Andy (or similar). The aftershave is the one he wore on our wedding day and it is ahhhmazing! The Amazon Echo (or even Echo dot) acts as great company for him when I am out of the house - Alexa is chatty! If the man in your life is into sports, he will swear by Under Armour clothing. Andy lives in it, so you can’t go wrong!
The Priceless Gift of Travel
My gift of choice!
If you want to gift someone a weekend away, Skyscanner is a really good way of getting flights for a weekend break on a budget. If you’re not fussy on where you want to visit, you can select the city you are flying from and then type “everywhere” in the “to” section. You can either choose a select weekend, or a whole month and Skyscanner will show you which countries you can fly to, starting with the lowest first!
The beauty of this, is that you don’t need to pray that the delivery man will arrive on time. Simply book the flights to the city you like the look of, order a travel guide from Amazon, print off the tickets, pop them in the travel guide and wrap them up!
Minimal effort, for maximum brownie points! (p.s. Andy, looks like we are going to Spain in January!)
This year, I asked Andy if we could choose the travel option instead of material gifts. I don’t actually want anything, but would love more than anything to visit a new city! So it’s a win win scenario! I have also donated presents to Mission Christmas and will make a donation to the Simon Community - what better gift than giving back to those people in your community that need it most? It sounds corny, but it really does give you a warm and fuzzy feeling!
Have a gorgeous Christmas you lovely lot!
